LAUNDRY: Can be used to enhance the cleaning power of laundry detergents, and acts as a natural fabric softener when you add half a cup of sodium carbonate to a regular load in the washer. Add a full cup of you have hard water and want to eliminate soap residue. 
 
ALL PURPOSE CLEANER: Can be used to clean kitchens, bathrooms, dishes, and pools/hot tubs. Mix a teaspoon of soda ash with 2 cups of water into a spray bottle and use as an all purpose cleaner. Works great to cut through soap residue.
 
CUTS THROUGH GREASE: Make a paste out of sodium carbonate and water then apply to grease/oil stains, let the paste dry and then sweep off residue and rinse with water.
